PRIDE IN OWNERSHIP MEANS PASSION FOR AND TRUE CONNECTION WITH PETS AND THEIR PEOPLE

  • We contribute to our local community with community service, teaching (Dr. Priddy teaches veterinary technology at Dallas College and we are a certified and designated teaching hospital), and providing unique opportunities for aspiring vet techs and aspiring veterinarians of all ages.
  • We provide truly personalized care by treating patients based on their specific needs and that of their human family’s lifestyle.
  • We build long-term relationships with multiple generations of clients.
  • We fulfill our passion for pets and people every day and serve the profession with exceptional care for our patients, clients, team and community.
  • With the recent proliferation of corporate practices and private equity-backed groups in the industry, often clients are not even made aware of who truly is running their veterinary clinic. Not at DVC!
  • We are transparent. We are 100% locally owned, by Dr. and Mrs. Priddy-we live here and we work in the practice daily!
  • When you choose to bring your pets to us, it makes a bigger impact on the local community and veterinary profession than you realize! Together, we can preserve the passion for the work that we do which is the legacy of independent ownership and promote the unique value that is provided to both patients and clients.

IVPA is the first nonprofit association dedicated to uniting independent veterinarians and empowering them to shape the business and practice of animal health care. Our association exists to promote fair competition where everyone plays by the same rules, to fight for the right to thrive as a small business, and to give independent vets a voice that can be heard over the noise of consolidation of vet practices by the corporate world— because when it comes to veterinary care, nothing speaks louder than passion.
